Ms. Bove earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Business, graduating magna cum laude from St. Joseph’s College in 2004. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, from Whittier Law School in 2011.
While at Whittier Law School, Ms. Bove was a Fellow at the Center for International and Comparative Law, where, upon graduation, she received the distinction of Outstanding Graduate for the Center. Ms. Bove was also a member of the Whittier Law Review, where she was elected to the position of Lead Articles Editor. As a member of Law Review, Ms. Bove wrote a scholarly article related to copyright law, which was subsequently published.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Bove worked as a legal assistant and paralegal in both California and Oregon. The cases she worked on prior to law school were in the area of personal injury, premises liability and products liability, including bicycle accidents, motorcycle accidents, auto accidents, and slip and fall cases.
This experience enabled her to obtain a highly competitive law clerk position at a prominent Orange County plaintiff’s firm while she was a law student, where she assisted plaintiffs in cases involving catastrophic injuries and mass torts.
Ms. Bove was admitted to the practice of law on December 1, 2011, and began working as an attorney advocating for elderly clients, focusing on elder abuse cases against nursing homes, residential care facilities for the elderly and assisted living facilities.
Ms. Bove joined DiMarco | Araujo | Montevideo in November of 2013, where she continues to advocate on behalf of plaintiffs who have been injured and harmed.
After graduating high school in 1996, Ms. Bove joined the Army where she was trained in the Arabic language and various radios and communications systems, and where she served as a specialist translating and analyzing intelligence information.
Ms. Bove speaks both Arabic and French, and has studied abroad in France, Spain and Jordan. Ms. Bove next plans to tackle the Spanish language.
Ms. Bove is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, and is the co-chair for the law school development committee of the New Lawyer’s Division. Ms. Bove is also a member of the American Association for Justice, Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Women’s Lawyers Association, and the Mommy, Esq. Committee.
Ms. Bove grew up in Wyoming, and has lived in all four corners of the U.S. (California, Washington, Georgia and New York). She is fond of traveling, and has visited 43 U.S. States, and several foreign countries. She also enjoys reading – she leads a book club and writes her own personal book-related blog. She is a collector of trivia and pop-culture references, and she plays the piano and the flute. You can occasionally find Ms. Bove at the beach or hiking, but most of her days off are spent watching her young daughter play and learn about the world.
